Looking Back at Four Greats

Requiem For a Dream(2000) : This is one of those films that puts under question the actual concept of filmmaking. Director Darren Aronofsky creates a drug culture, which liberalizes the child from adulthood. This is pure brilliance in film art. An exploration in drug exploration.
Sideways(2004) : This is a very simple film but its form is perfect....and i mean perfect. Terrifically acted by Giamatti, Haden Church and Madsen, the film puts under detail the story of friendship, love and life....in the most basic and heartfelt manner. Alexander Payne directs this great.
Before Sunset(2004) : Ethan Hawke, Julie Delpy and Richard Linklater join up to make a true, pure sequel to Before Sunrise. This is just one of those films that i can watch over and over again, and keep learning things about myself.
The Hours(2002) : This film truly understands the power of acting. This film has perfect acting, especially by Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, Jeff Daniels and Ed Harris. Director Stephen Daldry has a great collection of actors and it is one of the most beautiful films i've seen.
